How ProudSpot handles information
Effective October 8, 2026 · Version 2026-10-08-national-v1
ProudSpot is operated by Liberty Smart Consulting Group LLC. The service is designed for a parent, guardian, or authorized adult to create and approve a showcase. It is not intended for children to create accounts or independently submit personal information.
Information we collect
Depending on what you provide, ProudSpot may process parent or guardian contact information, the featured person’s display name, age range, story, goals, achievements, creative preferences, photos, video, audio, referral information, support requests, consultation preferences, feedback, privacy settings, and payment-verification identifiers. ProudSpot does not need a minor’s home address, private schedule, school dismissal details, financial information, or private contact information.
Why we use it
Information is used to verify an order or access authorization, build and review the ProudSpot, process approved media, provide the Parent Dashboard, enforce privacy settings, deliver the live page, provide customer support, manage hosting and renewals, prevent abuse, and improve the service.
Service providers
ProudSpot uses service providers to operate the product. Current infrastructure includes Stripe for payments, Supabase for database/storage/backend functions, Netlify for the website, and selected media-delivery or creative infrastructure used by the site. Branded transactional email may be delivered through Resend once enabled. Providers process information under their own terms and security practices.
Public, Unlisted, and Private pages
Public and Unlisted ProudSpots can be viewed by anyone who obtains the permanent link. Private ProudSpots require the current password. Passwords are stored only as one-way password hashes in the backend. ProudSpot does not submit individual showcase pages to search engines.
Media storage
Customer source media is kept in a non-public storage bucket. Live ProudSpot pages receive time-limited signed media links after the applicable access check. A person who is authorized to view a page can still save or share content displayed to them, so choose privacy settings accordingly.
Parent Dashboard links
The Parent Dashboard URL contains a private, high-entropy access token. Treat that URL like a password: do not post it publicly or forward it to people who should not be able to manage the ProudSpot.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained while needed to provide the service, maintain the applicable hosting term, resolve support or payment issues, prevent fraud or abuse, and meet legal or accounting requirements. A parent or guardian can request a takedown or deletion from the Parent Dashboard. Takedown removes public access promptly; permanent deletion may require additional processing and may not immediately remove legally required records or transient backups.
Children’s privacy
ProudSpot’s workflow requires adult authorization for a showcase featuring a minor. Checkout does not currently accept under-13 purchases. When under-13 service is enabled, the parent or legal guardian must provide an additional acknowledgement before the intake can be accepted. If you believe information about a child was submitted without appropriate authorization, use the support controls associated with the ProudSpot so the page can be reviewed and taken down if appropriate.
Browser storage
Before intake submission, ProudSpot does not intentionally save the featured person’s story, achievements, media details, or private-access password in local browser storage. A non-personal partner/referral code may be stored in the current browser session solely so a purchase can be attributed to the referring organization.
Security
ProudSpot uses restricted database access, private source storage, capability-based Parent Dashboard links, password hashing for Private pages, rate limiting for password attempts, signed media URLs, payment-webhook verification, and release checks before publication. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
The parent or guardian can change Public, Unlisted, or Private access from the Parent Dashboard, replace a Private password, request immediate takedown, request deletion, and ask for support. Hosting renewals are optional and not automatic.
Contact
For an existing ProudSpot, use the Support + control section of the Parent Dashboard. You may also reply to a ProudSpot transactional email once branded email service is enabled.
